Description
Which ECT Rating Makes a Box Heavy Duty?
A box is heavy duty at 44 ECT single wall or 48 ECT double wall and above. A 44 ECT single wall box carries up to 95 lb of box and contents, and a 51 ECT double wall box carries up to 120 lb under the carrier Rule 41 table.
Tools, auto parts, books, bulk food and industrial parts ship in heavy duty boxes. Inserts and partitions keep heavy items off the box walls.
