Custom Boxes Built to Your
Exact Specifications
Your packaging is the first thing a customer touches. Custom boxes are packaging built around your product's exact dimensions, material needs, and brand specifications — designed to protect what's inside and make the unboxing feel intentional, not incidental. Whether you're a small business ordering your first branded run or a wholesale buyer scaling production, every customized box is engineered to your spec, not pulled off a shelf.
Packaging design measurables affect buying behavior: an Ipsos study found that 72% of American consumers say packaging design influences their purchasing decisions, and well-fitted boxes reduce shipping damage and returns.
3 Box Types Most Brands Start With
If you're new to custom packaging, almost every order falls into one of these three formats. Pick the one closest to your product and we'll tailor the size, material, and finish from there.
Mailer Boxes
Tuck-flap style boxes ideal for direct-to-consumer brands. Strong, printable on every panel, and perfect for unboxing moments.
Shipping Boxes
Corrugated cartons engineered to survive freight and last-mile delivery. Available plain kraft or full-color print.
Folding Cartons
Lightweight retail-ready boxes for cosmetics, supplements, and food. Premium finishes and tight tolerances.

What Are Custom Boxes?
Custom boxes are packaging built from scratch around a specific product — its dimensions, weight, and brand identity. Instead of pulling a generic carton off a shelf, a custom box is cut to fit, printed to match your brand, and finished to feel intentional.
Stock boxes are cheap and immediate, but rarely the right size and never branded. Custom boxes cost a little more per unit and pay that back through lower damage rates, less void fill, and stronger brand recall on every unboxing.

Enhance Your Branding With Every Box
Packaging design measurably affects buying behavior: an Ipsos study found that 72% of American consumers say packaging design influences their purchasing decisions, and well-fitted boxes reduce shipping damage.
A custom box is also one of the only marketing surfaces a customer holds in their hands. Printing on the interior, adding a thank-you note panel, or wrapping the box in a coordinated belly-band turns the unboxing into a moment customers photograph and share.
Across our 500+ brands, the customers who invest in printed interiors see measurably higher repeat-purchase rates within the first 90 days.

How Are Custom Boxes Different From Stock Packaging?
Stock boxes ship faster and cost less per unit. Custom boxes fit better, brand harder, and lower your damage rate — which usually wins on total landed cost once volume passes a few hundred units.
Off-the-shelf boxes
- Generic sizes — products rattle and need void fill
- No branding, no print, no shelf presence
- Lower per-unit cost up front
- Higher damage and return rates on shipping
Built for your product
- Exact internal fit
- Full-color printing on every panel
- Premium finishes — soft-touch, foil, spot UV
- Lower damage rate, stronger brand recall
When stock packaging still makes sense: when you need 25 units this week, when your product fits a standard size perfectly, or when the box is invisible to the end customer.
Stock Box vs. Custom Box
Oversized generic carton with no brand, packed with void fill to keep the product from rattling.
Fitted, fully printed box that protects the product and turns delivery into a brand moment.
What Determines the Cost of a Custom Box?
Custom box pricing depends on five things: quantity, dimensions, board weight, print coverage, and finishing. Quantity has the biggest impact — unit prices typically drop 30–55% between a 100-unit run and a 1,000-unit run. Larger boxes use more board, and full-coverage print or specialty finishes (foil, spot UV, soft-touch) add per-unit cost.
Industry data across mailers, folding cartons, and rigid boxes.
How Order Quantity Changes Your Price Per Box
Setup cost is fixed — die-cutting, plate-making, and machine make-ready don't change much between 100 and 1,000 boxes. Larger runs amortize those costs across more units, so per-box pricing falls fast in the first 500 units and flattens after 2,000.
Which Add-Ons Increase Cost the Most
Spot UV and matte lamination add a few cents per box. Foil stamping, embossing, and double-sided print run more. Rigid construction and specialty paper wraps are the largest jump — but also the most premium-feeling.
Custom Box Sizes Built to Your Measurements
Every box is quoted off three numbers: length, width, and height — measured inside the box. Inside dimensions matter because that's what the product actually occupies.
If you're unsure of your dimensions, send us your product specs (or a sample) and we'll engineer the box. We'll factor in product weight, fragility, and shipping method when recommending board weight.
Aim for 1/8" to 1/4" of clearance on each side — enough to insert and remove the product easily without leaving room for it to shift in transit.
Small
Up to 6 × 6 × 4 in — supplements, jewelry, candles.
Medium
6–12 × 6–10 × 4–8 in — apparel, skincare sets, books.
Large
12 in+ — electronics, gift sets, multi-unit shippers.

What information do you need to quote custom boxes?
Inside dimensions (L × W × H), quantity, box style, and any branding or finish preferences. If you have artwork or product photos, send those too.
Can you produce custom boxes in any size?
Yes. Every customized box is built to your exact measurements — there is no fixed size list. We'll engineer the dieline from your dimensions.
Do you only print on standard sizes?
No. We print on whatever size your dieline calls for. Standard sizes are faster to quote, but custom sizes carry no extra setup cost.
What is your minimum order quantity?
There is no minimum. You can order a single prototype or fifty thousand boxes — per-unit pricing scales with quantity.
How long does production and delivery take?
Most orders ship within 7–10 business days from artwork approval. Domestic ground delivery typically adds 2–5 business days.
Can I see samples before placing a bulk order?
Yes. Flat proofs and 3D mockups are free with every quote, and pre-production physical samples are available on most styles.
Do you offer eco-friendly and recyclable options?
Yes. Recycled kraft, FSC-certified stocks, soy-based inks, and compostable mailers are all available. We also plant one tree for every order.
What happens if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
If your boxes arrive damaged or don't match the approved proof, we replace or refund. Contact us within 14 days of delivery.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX), PayPal, Apple Pay, and ACH/wire transfer for larger orders. Net terms are available for established accounts.
