Refund / Cancellation Policy
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all orders submitted to Urgent Custom Boxes via the Site or direct contract. As a specialized provider of custom, made-to-order packaging with an accelerated production timeline, our policy is designed to address issues of defect while clearly defining the narrow window for order cancellation. This policy does not infringe upon any legal rights you may possess under consumer protection laws.
Refunds and Product Reruns
As our products and services are exclusively manufactured according to the client’s precise instructions and approved specifications, we do not offer refunds or returns on correctly produced merchandise. However, we are committed to client satisfaction regarding product quality.
Company-Side Defects
If the supplied products are found to be materially non-compliant with the final approved specifications or contain confirmed manufacturing defects, the client must formally report the issue via email to [Insert Orders/Support Email] within three (3) working days of receiving the order.
Defect Verification: The client must provide verifiable evidence of the defect, typically through digital photographs.
Resolution: If the product fault is unequivocally proven to be the Company’s responsibility, our liability is strictly limited to a full and prompt reprint (rerun) of the affected portion of the order. Our determination regarding the existence and responsibility for the defect will be final.
Return of Goods: The client is required to return the complete original order to the Company within seven (7) working days of initiating the claim. The client will be initially responsible for the return shipping costs, which may be credited back upon final confirmation of the Company defect.
Client-Side Defects and Approved Proofs
If the ordered product contains errors or defects that were present in and subsequently approved by the client on the final proof (including but not limited to spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, layout issues, or color dissatisfaction due to non-calibrated screens), the Company bears no liability for a refund or rerun. The client is responsible for the accuracy of all approved materials.
Discretionary Partial Refund: If the client insists on a cash refund for a client-side defect, the client is required to ship the entire order back to us. Any refunded amount will be subject to deductions for all non-recoverable costs, including product setup fees, printing plate costs, labor incurred, and shipping and billing expenses.
Order Cancellation Policy
Due to our urgent production model, printing jobs are immediately forwarded to the press department upon final proof approval to initiate accelerated manufacturing.
Cancellation Window: After the client has granted final approval of the proof, the client has a narrow window of only four (4) hours to request order cancellation.
Cancellation Fee: A cancellation fee equivalent to 5% of the total order cost will be applied and deducted from any refund amount if the order is successfully canceled within the four-hour window. This fee covers immediate administrative and pre-press processing costs.
No Refund After Processing: If a cancellation request is received after the four-hour window, or if the order has already been physically processed in the press or material has been cut, no refund will be provided. In this event, we can offer complimentary warehousing for your completed order, allowing you to defer shipment to a later date.
